Thank goodness it is Friday, cause it means we get to pack tomorrow... yippee!
After work had two things we wanted to do. First we had a quick visit with our friends Kristin, Phil and their new little baby boy Shaia.He is the most beautiful baby! It was so wonderful to see our friends who have only recently become parents. We met them in one of the mandatory adoption programs and instantly hit it off. We were surprised to see how quickly they adjusted to their new roles, and how natural they are with their new child. It really is wonderful to have friends who completely understand the adoption process, what it takes, the patience needed, the concerns, the questions, and the emotions attached to the whole process. Somehow it makes it easier and more comforting that Kristin and Phil have gone thru the process, completed their adoption and are home with the child they were meant to have.Unfortunately it was really a short visit due to time constraints because we also wanted to get to Jesse's parents to celebrate his Dad's bday, and to visit for our last time with them before our trip.
However I did manage to give Shaia a bottle during our visit. Truthfully it doesn't get much better than that.
Had a nice visit with the in-laws and told them that when we return their new names will be Babooska Arleen and Dyah Dooshka Dennis.
Get ready for the packing report tomorrow...and I am writing this so I stick to it...I am packing light!

We are so happy that we got to see you before Wed., even if it was a short visit <3! Shaia already misses you and is waiting for his next bottle from Aunty Nic :)! You're a natural! Very soon our sushi dates will be for 6 :)!! We love you a ton!! XXOO
