10 more days until we begin our journey to meet our child. 17 more days until our appointment at the State Department.
We are filled with excitement and wonder. Who is our child? What age is our child? What sex is our child? Does our child have any idea that we are going to bring them to a place that will offer them so much more?
So many questions we ask ourselves, but at the end of the day we believe wholeheartedly that the Universe is setting it up just perfectly for the three of us to be united.
We want to thank our friends and family who have supported us, encouraged us and given us the strength to continue along this path.
An extra special thank you to my Mother for being there every single step of the way and knowing just the right words to say to make it all better!
Our first stop will be Rome, to run around the fascinating city for a few days enriching our souls before we travel to the Ukraine for even more enrichment.
We invite you all to join with us as we embark on this journey and new adventure in our life.

August is the best month of the whole year to be introduced to your child!! It's when my parents met me and I'm sure they were thrilled! There is a saying that all roads lead to Rome. I think in this case, all roads lead from Rome...particularly the Road to Parenthood! Throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain (or Fountain de Trevi if you have to ask directions!) and tell Italy I will be back soon.
