Our travels begin today

Jess and I did not get much sleep last night...thinking about everything.
How this whole experience will change us forever. As we embark on this journey we are complete within ourselves knowing that we were pulled in this direction and that we just could not resist. As partners for life, we are assured that we will be there for one another ever step of the way.
A moment to say thank you to all of our friends and family who have held our hands, given us strength, and supported us throughout our challenging process. As Randy Pausch (The Last Lecture) said, "brick walls are there for a reason...they are not there to keep us out, only to make us realize how very much we want something."
Off to Rome first...Arrivederci!

I forgot to tell you that I encased you both in my green/white and gold protective light! Can't be too careful! Got the key to the house. Party is on for this weekend! What was the name of the bartender again?

Love, J

I can't believe this is actually happening for the two of you. The two of you must be thinking "What a gift our lives we are about to receive", when in actually it is your child that is receiving the gift. I can not imagine there are two people on this planet who have more love to share with their child than the both of you.
Have a safe and joyous journey and look to a grand future. One filled with sleepless nights emptied bank accounts, but hearts that are overflowing.

Love,

Grayson

I was sitting on the bed with Giovanni this morning trying to teach him how to blow his nose. All the while I thought of you guys and how different your lives soon will be. All the magic you guys have had with each other was just the precursor for what you will share as parents teaching your child something as simple as blowing his/her nose. It's awesome!

Love E.
