Last thoughts to share before we try to sleep. First of all I want to thank my husband Jesse for being such an incredible man. His constant support, encouragement, flexibility, warmth, open heart, and persistent strength thru this whole journey thus far has carried me safely and weightless at times. He is a man like no other, my partner for life and my best friend. I feel so fortunate to have a found such an amazing spirit to share this whole experience with.
Tomorrow when we awake we will be only hours away from one of the most significant turning points in our lives. No matter the outcome we will be changed forever. One can not help but become more enriched in ways you never knew existed. This whole experience has taken both of us to places where raw emotions explode like thunder, and patience has strangled us until almost blue. With that said there have also been times of deep resolve knowing that this full circle of life will be healing for so many of us.
Good night dear friends, tomorrow will change our lives forever!

Remember all those times when paperwork was delayed, decisions were postponed, doors were shut and you kept asking me “why”? As impatient as you can be (can someone say Aries or type A personality!?), it was hard for you to take…you did all the right things, you went the extra mile, you traced and retraced your steps to make sure everything was in order! Why wasn’t it happening??????????
But your child also has a mind of his or her own. I just kept telling you that Kiska-o , the child that was right for you, just wasn’t ready to be found yet. Well Kiska-o is now ready. It’s August (the finest month of the year), you’ve just had a great trip to Italy (the best place on earth besides home), your mom is healthy and ready to accept her new grandchild with open arms…and Michael Phelps just won 8 Gold medals in a single Olympics…proving that hard work, persistence, dedication to your dreams and family all pay off!
So go get him/her! The time has come!
